Faisal Al-Hajri graduated in 1999 from Qatar University with BS in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting. Upon graduating he embarked on his career at QAPCO, a subsidiary company of Qatar Petroleum, where he held a position in the Finance Department. In 2005 Mr. Al-Hajri joined Qatar Foundation where he was appointed as Financial Controller and then to Accounting Manager in 2007. In 2008 was promoted to Deputy Financial Director where he is responsible for managing and monitoring all financial matters, internal controls, budget approvals and general accounts for the Foundation in a shared service environment. Moreover, he also ensures the implementation of administrative, accounting and financial rules and regulations. Mr. Al-Hajri sits on the Board of Directors for Qatar MICE Development Institute, (QMDI) as well as being an active committee representative for Qatar Foundation where he provides advisory services to various boards.
